Man Caught Eating Dead Woman's Face In Hotel Room In The UK

A 34 year-old man, Matthew Williams nicknamed Fifi, was allegedly found eating a woman’s eyeball and face in a hotel room.

The horrified security staff at The Sirhowy Arms Hotel in Argoed, South Wales, burst into the room after the murder suspect refused to let them in.

The hotel staff called police who hit Matthew Williams with a high voltage taser which knocked him to the floor. He was formally arrested but died moments later due to high voltage.

Scotland Rejects Independence From United Kingdom In Historic Referendum

Scotland has rejected independence, leaving the centuries-old United Kingdom intact but paving the way for a major transfer of powers away from London.

Despite a surge in nationalist support in the final fortnight of the campaign, the "No" has secured 55.30 per cent of the vote against 44.70 per cent for the pro-independence "Yes" camp.

After a campaign that fired up separatist movements around the world, turnout was 84.6 per cent, officials said on Friday - the highest ever for an election in Britain.

"No" campaigners across Scotland cheered and hugged as the results came in and British Prime Minister David Cameron said he was "delighted", adding: "It would have broken my heart to see our United Kingdom come to an end."

The imminent breakup of their marriage may be the least of the problems popular mega-church pastor, Chris Oyakhilome, and his wife, Anita, are facing at the moment as the United Kingdom agency is investigating the UK branch of their church, Christ Embassy, over controversial payments.
The United Kingdom Charity Commission has launched a probe into the transfer of at least N941 million (£3.6 million) by the church to overseas entities between 2008 and 2012.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Charity Commission said it has opened a statutory inquiry to investigate Christ Embassy over “a number of serious concerns relating to the use of charitable funds, in particular large connected party payments and the potential misapplication of grant funding.”
According to the Charity Commission, which is the regulator of charities in England and Wales, statutory inquiries are only opened to investigate “the most serious” regulatory breaches.

Helen Ukpabio Sues UK Rights Groups £500million Over Witchcraft Claims

Nigerian preacher, Helen Ukpabio, has sued two UK human rights groups - The British Humanist Association (BHA) and Witchcraft and Human Rights Information Network (WHRIN) for £500 million (N130 billion) due to their criticism of her teachings.

Mrs Ukpabio claims to have expertise in identifying children and adults who are possessed with witchcraft spirits and in how they can be ‘delivered’ from those spirits. She had given features of “possessed children” only for the BHA to call for Ukpabio and others like her to be banned from coming to the UK on the grounds that they are a threat to child welfare and their practices are not conducive to the public good.’

Ukpabio claims that the BHA misrepresented her by saying that she ascribed these symptoms to Satanic possession and hence has damaged her reputation and livelihood to the sum of half a billion pounds. Her lawyers have also informed the BHA and WHRIN that she is launching a legal case against them.

The unnamed patient, who was working as a healthcare specialist in Sierra Leone, will stay in a high-level isolation unit (HLIU) at a hospital in north London.

His condition has been described as ‘not currently seriously unwell’ by a government spokesman.

More than 1,400 people in West Africa have died from the epidemic and there is no known cure for the life-threatening virus. In total, an estimated 2,600 people have been infected in the region.

Two US nationals who were given an experimental drug known as ZMapp responded well to the treatment, and were discharged from hospital last week.

Woman Jailed For Trying To Smuggle Babies From Nigeria To The United Kingdom (PICTURED)

A 51-year-old woman, Ijeoma Udechukwu, has been jailed for trying to smuggle two babies into the United Kingdom.

The sentencing was carried out on Monday, 18 August, at Isleworth Crown Court. The woman, who is from Kennington, south-east London, was sentenced to six months imprisonment suspended for two years, 180 hours unpaid work.

Udechukwu was apprehended after going to the British embassy in Lagos, to present two completed applications for the youngsters which she falsely claimed were hers.
The embassy carried out a DNA test on her, which revealed she was not the biological mother of either infant and the applications were refused.

Bishop David Oyedepo Barred From Entering The UK?

  The UK Home Office has barred multi-millionaire Nigerian preacher David Oyedepo from entering the United Kingdom, according to sources.

A source at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport revealed that the barring of Oyedepo, who holds a ‘C’ Visa that allows him entry into the UK for ten years, was communicated to airlines via an ‘Airline Alert’ on Saturday, 9 August, 2014′. The alert stresses that any airline that flouts the ban is liable to a fine of £2000, the source said.

8 Year Old Nigerian Boy Comes 2nd In UK Child Genius Competition(PICTURED)

 8 year old Tudor Mendel-Idowu and his sister 11 year old Hazelle Mendel-Idowu (pictured above) were the only Nigerians to take part in the Child Genius of the Year 2014 in the UK.

The competition consists of 20 highly gifted youngsters between 7-12 who face two grueling rounds: Logic and Reasoning and Memory Recall - where they have just one hour to commit 104 randomly shuffled playing cards to memory.

He was stabbed to death in the early hours of August 1 2009 outside a night club after an argument with Jeffery and his friends. Jeffery then fled to Nigeria after the murder.     Police believe they know the identity of his killer but have been unable to find him for five years after he allegedly fled to Nigeria.

Nigerian Man Sentenced To 263 Years In US Prison (PICTURED)

Felix Okafor, a 53-year-old U.S-based Nigerian man, who migrated to the U.S in 1981, has been sentenced to 263 years in prison for drugs and weapons distribution/sales and money laundering.

According to a report by Punch,  Okafor purchased a convenience store in Benson, North Carolina, called “Flying Eagles Groceries,” which he ran himself. However, it was discovered that the store was just a cover-up for his illegal activities.

Residents became suspicious of Okafor over time, because he didn’t seem to care about his supposed business.

What would make a child kill her own parents?

 A husband and wife have been found guilty of the murder of the woman's parents, whose bodies lay undiscovered for 15 years, buried in a back garden.

Susan and Christopher Edwards shot Patricia and William Wycherley and buried them at the Wycherleys' home in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, in 1998.

The couple then stole thousands of pounds, siphoned off the Wycherleys' pensions and sold their house.

The bodies were found last October after the Edwards gave themselves up.

They had fled to France because officials were trying to contact Mr Wycherley, believing he was approaching his 100th birthday.

Aisha Eniola, a 19-year-old  Nigerian teenager resident in the United Kingdom has become the country’s youngest councillor after winning the council election.
19-year-old Aisha Eniola, a final year student of Mass Communication, was elected into the Brent Council in London.
Ms. Eniola, who represents the Harlesden Ward, is the daughter of a former Welsh Harp Councillor, Francis Eniola.
Aisha is said to have won the residents of the ward over with her intelligence which showed through during the pre-election debates.
She won 2, 160 votes for the Labour Party to defeat Simon Erskine, of the Green Party, who won 459 votes and Paul Fowler, of the Liberal Democrat, who won 313.
The teenager has stated that she hopes her win will encourage young people to participate in politics

Woman Arrested For Allegedly Killing Three Of Her Disabled Children

 A woman believed to be the mother of three children found dead at a south-west London home has been arrested on suspicion of murdering the three children.
Officers were called to a property on Thetford Road, New Malden, at about 21:30 BST on Tuesday.
A girl, aged four, and twin boys, aged three, were pronounced dead at the scene.
It is understood all three had a disability and were cared for by their 42-year-old mother Tania Clarence.
The children are believed to have been born with a life-limiting genetic condition.
Their father Gary Clarence, who works as a director at City bank Investec, was not at home at the time of the deaths but is understood to have been informed of the tragedy.
