As events begin to get clear to members of Christ Embassy, they are being divided over the divorce suit that was filed against the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Church by wife in a London court.
Some members of the church on a Facebook page, ‘Where is Rev. Anita Oyakhilome,’ believed to have been opened by Anita’s sympathizers, expressed differing opinions on the messy situation.
Below is what Christ Embassy members are saying about the saga...
On Saturday, one of the church member, Ijeoma Olive Ehirim said, “I am a Christ Embassy member. My girlfriend travels with our branch pastor annually for PPCF which holds in Lagos. Only God knows.”

He said the the powerful individuals have ensured that the talks to secure the girl's release derailed.
5 year old AvaLynn was nearly disfigured when she was allegedly attacked by another pupil at her Elementary school in Mississippi this week. The most bizarre thing about this story is that the school is maintaining that she was not attacked, rather she got the horrific injuries in an accident while playing on the playground. Makes no sense. This looks more like a vicious attack to me.
Her mother and other relatives have opened a Facebook page for the young girl to tell what happened to her and share photos of her injuries, while seeking for justice. Below is what they wrote on the Facebook page about the incident...

Italian Minister Claims He Is Under A Curse By African Spirits For Calling First Black Minister An Ape
Senior Italian politician Roberto Calderoli who sparked outrage when he compared Italy’s first black minister, Congolese-born Cécile Kyenge to an orang-utan (a specie of apes), claims he is under siege from vengeful African spirits.
He is considering asking the Pope to recommend an exorcist to fight off the curse.
When Calderoli made the racist statement, he issued an apology and refused to resign. In November, he took legal advice after being charged with defamation aggravated by racial discrimination.
The trial, according to The Independent, is ongoing.
Calderoli now believes that Kyenge’s father, who is a tribal leader, has put an African curse – “macumba” on him as punishment for the remark.
Since his “orang-utan” comment, he has had six surgical interventions, the death of his mother, fractured bones and just a week ago, he discovered a 6ft snake in the kitchen of his house.
Last year, Oggi Magazine filmed Kyenge’s 75-year-old father Clement Kikoko Kyenge performing a ceremony in the village of Katanga in Democratic Republic of Congo. Clement allegedly prayed to God for the racist politician to repent.
Calderoli’s photo was placed on an enclosed termite mound during the traditional ceremony.
“The photos and the video were unsettling. They put a picture of me in the middle of a termite mound. That is not a friendly message,” said Calderoli to Oggi mag when he saw the video.
He said that after the video, he suffered the health scares and that two friends gave him a lucky charm supposed to possess mystical healing powers but “two days later, it broke in two by itself. A wizard has told me that there are terrible forces acting against me”.
Mr Kyenge later spoke to Oggi about Calderoli’s recent incidents.
He replied, “A snake in the house is not a good sign and I’m not sure Calderoli did well to kill it. If when he apologised to Cécile he was sincere, he can feel comfortable. If, however, those excuses were insincere, the ancestors might become angry.”

Whatever you think about Denrele Edun the dude obviously cares less, he keeps getting all the attention anyway.
The controversial TV personality was at the Nigeria Teen Choice Awards (NTCA) a few days ago wearing a Japanese inspired outfit, a blue hair and his trademark skyscraper footwear; was he looking err… unique or what?!
Check him out below and tell us what you think. Weird, right?
Today's Church is longer like Church used to be, in the past Church is where you go for refuge. Sadly what we have today is, Pastors competing with themselves over who has the best suits, the best cars and, in recent times, who have more beautiful girls in his "Pastoral Cure Unit". Now the mess has spread to church members, many are living the artificial life rather than be of help to their neighbours as expected.
Below is what happened to this pastor who disguised as a destitute to his church:
Pastor Jeremiah Steepek transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor at that morning.

Naija movie industry has witnessed various celebrities in marital disarray. Most of them, very heartbreaking and disappointing to their fans. Here are the popular marriage breakups that shocked and rocked Nollywood:

Almaroof, the man who stole Funke’s heart last year, swept her off her feet and landed her in the altar, has become a serial baby daddy, keeping a string of affairs, and even returning to the women he had prior to the celebrity wedding with Funke Akindele, it was only a matter of time before it was all out in the air. [One of them then said, "it's over"]

Nigeria's Health Minister Prof. Chukwu announced yesterday that there's only one confirmed case of Ebola in Nigeria now...that everyone else has been certified clean; which begs the question, what happened to the N1.9billion released by Pres. Jonathan for the management of Ebola in Nigeria?
Looks like the money will now be used to buy cars and other things.
During his press conference yesterday, Prof. Chukwu, denied the money was for the management of the virus, saying it was for the ministry of health and will be used to buy cars and other things
A woman has appealed to an Ibadan court to dissolve her 8-year-old marriage, because her husband, Lukman Aguntasoolo left her for his first wife.
The woman, Rianat Aguntasoolo, told the Grade C customary court at Agodi-Gate that Lukman does not carry out his responsibilities as the head of the house.
She said, “There is always trouble in our home because we fight nearly everyday. He has abandoned me for his first wife. Lukman doesn’t cater for me and our children. The moment I challenged him for not performing his duties at home he began to accuse me of committing adultery. He would go as far as checking my belongings and spying on me all the time.”
Founder and President of the Gospel Apostolic Church, Pa Samuel Sadela, who is described as the oldest pastor in Nigeria, has died at the age of 114.
Pa Sadela died yesterday August 26th at the church premises. The church has already opened a condolence register in front of its premises. Pa Samuel was born in 1900 and started his pastoral journey in 1928.
He made news headlines in 2007 when at the age of 107 years, he took a 30 year old wife, 6 years after his second wife passed away.
Pa Samuel, an indigene of Ondo state, first got married in 1934, with the marriage lasting for 21 years, but none of the couple’s seven children lived beyond their infancy. A second marriage, said to have been consummated in 1965, was blessed with four children, but only two survived. His second wife died in 2001.
While celebrating his 113th birthday last year, Pa Samuel said he wished to live up to 200 years
“I feel happy to be this old. Actually, I feel like a young man. I still enjoy my meal of Iyan (pounded yam), Eba and bush meat. I sleep whenever I want to and wake up stronger. I want to live longer to prove to all that God remains the same as He was in times past. If Methuselah could live for 969 years, God can make me live well beyond 113. If Noah could be 950, it is not too much for Him to make me live up to 200.” He said
May his soul rest in peace.
