If eyes are windows to the soul, then Joel Miggler's extreme piercings are a portal to the digestive system.
The 23-year-old from Germany has undergone some extensive body modifications. Most noticeable are the holes in the alternative models cheeks which are so cavernous that he can flick his tongue through them.
In addition, he has 27 different piercings, six tattoos and branded buttocks
"There is not one person or one thing that inspired me, I just enjoy playing with my body and blood," Miggler told the Caters New Agency.

Even though his face resembles Swiss cheese, Miggler said the procedure was not painful. One drawback, however, is that he must take smaller bites of food when eating.

Alternative model, Joel Miggler, 23, from Küssaberg, Germany began experimenting with body modifications at the tender age of 13.
Since turning 13 Joel has acquired a grand total of 27 different piercings, as well as 6 tattoos, an implant & has even had his buttock branded.
Miggler's obsession with body modifications first began after stretching his earlobes and has now spent over £4000 — or more than $6,800 — altering his body.
