Lagos Herbalists Want Fashola To Build Herbal Hospitals And Mertanities




The Logos State Chapter of the Nigerian Union Of Medical Herbal Practitioners have called on the State governor, Babatunde Fashola to Show support for their Craft by establishing herbal institutions, allocating plots of land to the union.

According to a report by Vanguard the Union would like the state government to build general hospitals and maternity centers across the state for the practice of traditional medicine.




The union with a membership pf over 2 million, appealed to the governor to accept their request as "a parting gift and a lasting legacy" for the promotion of the practice of herbal medicine to compliment Orthodox medical practice in Lagos.

The union said that the hospitals and maternity centers will create a forum for government to monitor the practice as well as regulate them effectively
