The spokesperson of the Kano Command of Nigerian Police Force, Magaji Majiya, who confirmed the incident to PREMIUM TIMES over the telephone, Wednesday, said the attack took place at the mosque in Kwankwaso Town of Madobi Local Government Area.
“On Monday at around 7:30 p.m., some unknown gunmen in unknown number opened fire sporadically at the Mosque while worshippers were observing the late evening prayer,” he said.
