PHOTOS: Malala Yousafzai Who Survived Terrorism Storms Nigeria For Chibok Girls

Today is renowned girl child education campaigner Malala Yousafzai's 17th birthday, but instead of being anywhere in the world to celebrate, she chose to come to Nigeria. The Pakistani girl shot by Taliban a few years ago for campaigning for girl child education, arrived Abuja, Nigeria in the early hours of today, to raise her voice in the demand to release the kidnapped Chibok girls.

She's expected to meet with President Jonathan tomorrow Monday July 14th, as well as families of some of the missing Chibok girls.

16-YEAR-OLD PAKISTANI EDUCATION ACTIVIST, MALALA YOUSAFZAI DONATES N16.4M TO NIGERIA




 "Together we can create a world where no child will be out of school and no student will fear for her safety"  words of 16-year-old Education activist, Malala Yousafzai.
Malala Yousafzai  has donated all the proceeds from the sale of a portrait to Nigerian charities focused on education and advocacy for girls and women.
The portrait fetched $102,500 (N16.4m) at an auction on Wednesday in New York.
Yousafzai, who was shot in the head by Taliban militant in Pakistan for advocating girls’ right to education, said she was shocked and saddened when she learned that more than 200 Nigerian schoolgirls had been kidnapped from their school by the rebel group Boko Haram in an April 15 raid.
