Reverend Edward James of the Bertha Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Jackson,Mississippi dressed his horse named Charlotte, in a wedding dress to protest the legalization of same sex marriage.
According to a video uploaded to the Internet, the pastor hopes to show people how ridiculous the idea of two men getting married was.
Speaking to on-lookers he said:
"I'm praying and hoping that we will remain a state that recognizes only a marriage between a man and a woman."
The pastor stood in front of the Jackson court house for more than two hours, and people honked their horns and some stopped to take pictures.
