Ex President Olusegun Obasanjo has revealed that while he was still in power he was probed by Nuhu Ribadu, who was then the chairman of Economic And Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
He made this revelation at the presentation of "Illicit Financial Flow and Governance of Natural Resources" ny Mallam Ribadu at the 3rd Tana High Level Forum On Security in Africa held in Badir Dar, Ethiopia.
He recalls the his close associates and even his late wife Stella Obasanjo were not spared by Ribadu. He agreed with Ribadu that at the center of the anti corruption fight there was the need for willingness of political leadership at the highest level.
He also recalled how Mallam Ribadu was poisoned, saying it was a serious case, 'a matter of life and death
