Sanusi To Challenge Suspension by President Jonathan In Court
The former Governor of the Central bank of Nigeria, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has said he intends to challenge the decision to suspend him from office by the president saying that if the CBN Governor can not the sacked, it should also mean he can not be suspended.
The Ex governor who got the news of his suspension while he was away in Niger Republic, attending a meeting of West African CBN governors. Insisting that his intention was not to hold on to office but to establish the principle by the court.
Sanusi said this while speaking to the cable news network, CNBC Africa in Niamey, the Nigerien capital shortly after news of his suspension broke.
