Stop Unguarded Utterances, Kwankaso Urges Politicians

Gov. Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State on Friday advised politicians to guard against utterances capable of overheating the polity. He gave the advice when a delegation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Sen. Kabiru Gaya paid him a courtesy call at Government House, Kano. The governor urged politicians to shun the politics of do- or-die and the use of public office for self-aggrandizement. He also urged political office holders to use their positions to positively change the lives of the people. In his remark, the leader of the delegation, Sen. Gaya called on the people in the state to support the governor to move the state forward. He commended Kwankwaso for his efforts at transforming the state. Also in the delegation were a former presidential candidate, Alhaji Bashir Tofa, former ANPP Secretary, Alhaji Ado Kabir, a former gubernatorial aspirant, Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, and Alhaji Barau Jibrin, a former member of the House of Representatives, among others.
