The jostle by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the House of
Representatives to wrestle the majority status from the ruling Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) suffered a setback Tuesday as it lost one of its
own from Nassarawa State.
Haruna Joseph Kigbu dumped APC for the PDP, saying that his decision
to quit his former party which has the majority in his state and is the
only state where the erstwhile Congress for Progressives Change (CPC)
clinched the position of governor, was based on wide consultations.
