It is no longer news that Emmanuel Adebayor has been in an estranged relationship with his mother and sister. Sources gathered that Adebayor accused his mother of being a witch, plotting juju against him, therefore sent her away from his home.
Manu, as he is fondly called by his mum said his family members have sold almost all his properties in Togo behind him, and he doesn't want anything to do with them again. Looks like he is ready to settle his differences with family as he has returned home to Togo where he is to attend to private matters.
The statement from Tottenham Hotspurs, where he plies his trade reads:
"''We can confirm that Emmanuel Adebayor has been given permission to return home for personal reasons.
''This is a private matter and so we will not be providing any further comment,'' Tottenham posted on Twitter
