An alleged robber in Chile who attacked an elderly man and tried to rob him got more than he bargained for.
The alleged thief, Valentino Abeyta Barrera, who attacked his victim at knife-point was caught by bystanders, disarmed, stripped naked and tied to a lamppost with his clothes torn off and his underpants pulled down.
Police arrived after 20 minutes, he refused to tell the police what happened asking only that the police free him from the lamp post. After Barrera was released and taken to the police station he refused to file a complaint, and begged the policemen to free him and let him go.
