A team led by the Lagos State Commissioner For Health, Dr. Jide Idris, met on Sunday with the General Overseer of the Synagogue Church For All Nation, Pastor T.B Joshua.
The meeting became expedient following rumours of possible carriers of the virus visiting the church which is fared for healing and miracles and attracts visitors from within and outside the country.
Pastor T.B Joshua denied such allegation, saying that there was no such in his church.
Meanwhile, the state’s Health Commissioner has advised that the disease was deadly and the cooperation of all was needed to assist Government curb the spread of the virus.
He noted that as the Lagos State Government continues to take measures to curtail any possible spread of Ebola disease in the state, religious leaders have an important role to play based on their influence on their congregations.
