A childless couple married for 16 years (Benson Ogwu and his wife), yesterday set ablaze a Bible in Asaba, Delta State.
According to reports, the Ogwus are not just members of a popular Pentecostal church in the area but dedicated church workers.
They however gave up on God and got angry after their high expectations of making babies were shattered by a prophet who told them they had a delay in having children because they were far from God.
Passers by and neighbours tried to stop them from carrying out the action, but the couple’s decision prevailed.
The couple actually got married in a Catholic Church, which they dumped afterwards for the popular Pentecostal church where accusing fingers have been pointed to the pastor for raising false prophesies.
People should stop looking outward for miracles, looking outward brings disappointment when your expectation is not met, but when you look inward you will draw inner strength that will give them the grace to look upwards, where true and lasting miracles are made!! The miracle does not come from the Church you attend, if it were so Jesus would have said so!!!
