Footballer Hit by Missile Thrown from Crowd Dies(PICTURED)

A Cameroonian Albert Ebossé, a striker,  died after he was hit on the head by an object thrown from the crowd at the end of a top-flight Algerian league game on Saturday.

The 24-year-old was struck by a projectile, thrown by fans in the stands, as he and fellow teammates returned to their changing room. His team, JS Kabylie, had just lost their game against USM Alger in Tizi Ouzou 2-1. The lone goal for  JS Kabylie was scored by late Albert Ebossé. Albert was rushed to the hospital but he lost his life.

Ebosse played for Coton Sport FC, Unisport Bafang and Douala AC in his homeland before moving to Malaysian club Perak FA in 2012. He signed for JS Kabylie in July 2013 and was best scorer in the 2013-2014 championship.

Reports say he recently welcomed a baby. However, the Algerian interior ministry has ordered an investigation to search for the culprit.

The person that did this must face the consequences of his action, what is wrong with footballing fans, if you cant take the heat stay at home and break your TV set!! What a waste of a promising player, May God comfort the wife and kid he left behind!
May his soul rest in peace!!
