4 MINISTERS TO PROBE LEBANESE ASSAULT

Abuja - President Goodluck Jonathan has ordered government agencies to investigate reports of a Lebanese employer assaulting a local woman resulting in a miscarriage.
Special presidential adviser on media and publicity, Reuben Abati, stated Jonathan had ordered Police, Ministers-Interior, Labour, Women, Health and National Human Right Commission (NHRC) to institute a probe.

“President Jonathan shocked by reports of pregnant Nigerian worker losing baby after being beaten up by Lebanese employer orders. President Jonathan orders Police, Ministers-Interior, Labour, Women, Health and National Human Right Commission (NHRC) to investigate for sanctions and remedial action,” Abati stated.
It was established that Alice Ossai was the Cleaning Unit Supervisor at Toppan Packaging Company Limited located on Ladipo Oluwole in Ikeja Industrial Estate Lagos.
Her employer, Kaveh Noine, allegedly beat her up for negligence of duty.
Osasai was said to have lost her pregnancy days after the assault.
