Christian Couple Killed For ‘Desecrating Koran’ In Pakistan

A Christian couple Identified only by their first names, Shama and Shehzad, were severely beaten and burnt in a brick klin,  where the worked, on Tuesday, by a Muslim mob for allegedly desecrating a Koran Vanguard reports

The incident took place in the town of Kot Radha Kishan, some 60 kilometres (40 miles) southwest of Lahore, and is the latest example of mob violence against minorities accused of blasphemy.

“A mob attacked a Christian couple after accusing them of desecration of the holy Koran and later burnt their bodies at a brick kiln where they worked,” local police station official Bin-Yameen told AFP.

Barely a month after a Pakistani woman was stoned to death by her family for marrying a man she loved, a teenager survived after she was shot twice and thrown in a canal by her family for marrying the man she loved. Saba Maqsood was attacked by her father, uncle, brother and aunt before she was tossed into the canal.
A police spokesman,Ali Akbar told Reuters

    The victim, Saba ... married her neighbour Muhammad Qaiser for love five days ago against the wishes of her family.They took her to Hafizabad, shot her twice and threw her in the canal after putting her in a sack, presuming that she was dead.'Her relatives fled the scene, and after minutes in the water she regained consciousness and struggled to the bank, where passers-by helped her. She is a brave girl. She came out of the canal and approached a nearby fuel station from where a rescue team rushed her to hospital.

Pakistani Police Chop Off Hands Of Two Men Accused Of Theft (PHOTO)

Two men have been left writhing in pain after Pakistani police chopped off their left hands .They were accused of  stealing electrical wire and mobile phones.and reportedly refused to confess to their crimes.They were brought to the hospital 8 hours after their hands were cut off.

However,Ghulam Mustafa, 38, and Liaquat Ali, 42, accused police of hacking off their hands with a large butcher's knife, despite their innocence.Mustafa told Reuters from his hospital bed.

Man Murders 3 Gay Men After Sex To Stop Them From Spreading 'Evil'

A  28-year-old father-of-two, Muhammed Ejaz, a Pakistani paramedic, was arrested last week and confessed to three brutal murders, saying he wanted to stop them from committing further evil and to spread a message that homosexuality is bad. , though police insist he had sex with his victims first.
He met all three men online.

In an interview with AFP from his prison cell  Ejaz said..

    'My way was wrong. It is tragic that the families have lost their relatives but they were spreading evil in society and I had to stop it.I wanted to warn them to stay away from this evil.I started going on Manjam(Social networking site) two months ago using my mobile phone, and found that the gays are everywhere in LahoreThey are spreading evil and transmitting diseases. They cannot control themselves.I tried to convince them to stop their dirty acts, but they would not,” he said. “So I decided to kill them.

NINE MONTHS OLD BABY CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER GRANTED BAIL BY PAKISTANI JUDGE

A nine-month-old boy charged with planning a murder, threatening police and interfering with state affairs in Pakistan has been granted bail after appearing in court this week.

Toddler Muhammad Mosa Khan was booked in February along with 30 other people, including a number of members of his family, after stones were allegedly thrown at police and energy officials during raids on homes in Lahore. Residents had been accused of not paying for electricity.

Apparently deciding that the nine month old was capable of - and had - taken part in the alleged stone throwing, Sub-Inspector Kashif Ahmed decided to arrest the child.

What followed were farcical scenes in which the toddler was fingerprinted and made to sit on his grandfather’s lap in court, drinking his bottle.
