ABIA POLITICIAN DRAGS JESUS INTO POLITICS (PHOTO)




 What kind of joke is this? No respect for religion and Christ again!!
Has he been really sent by God to Abuja to deliver Abia central whereas he can't stay in Abia and deliver the state?
See how people are making mockery of God all in the name of political sycophancy. I don't think a muslim can come up with such a blasphemous picture.

16 Church Members Suffocate, One Dies At Service




A six year old boy has been confirmed dead while 16 others are receiving treatment for suffocation after they inhaled carbon monoxide fumes from a generator they were using during worship at the Young People's Christian Fellowship in Aba, Abia state yesterday Saturday July 26th.

According to eyewitnesses, the worshipers were having their Friday night vigil with a generator close by when they started to collapse one by one. Residents of Eziukwu road where the worship centre is located woke up this morning to find the worshipers unconscious.

PHOTO: Abia State Commissioner Dies 6 Days After Bullet Wound





 Abia State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Kenneth Nwosu, who was shot on Wednesday 9th of July By suspected assassins along Umuajata/Amakama road while driving from Umuahia the capital city to his home at Olokoro in Umuahia South local government, is dead.
The commissioner said to be one of the best serving commissioners in Abia  passed on after battling for his life for six days, from the bullet wound. His transition was announced yesterday evening.

May his soul rest in peace!

19 Pregnant Girls Rescued From Abia Baby Factory



The Abia State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has rescued 19 pregnant teenage girls while ‘raiding’ a baby factory  at Umunkpeyi in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of the state.
Parading the rescued girls and some of the workers in the baby factory, Abia state Commandant of NSCDC, Andy Dateer, said the arrest was made possible following a tip-off.

Apart from the 19 pregnant inmates, NSCDC said three babies aged two were also rescued along with four social workers and four young men who were arrested at the premises.

Boko Haram Kingpin Among 486 Suspects Arrested In Abia – Army




When I heard the news of the of the mass arrest I smelt a rat, it is still smelling!!
Defence headquarters has a statement through its spokesman that:
One of the most wanted Boko Haram kingpins is among the 486 suspects arrested by the Nigeria Army in Abia state.
The Defence Headquarters said that the Boko Haram kingpin who had early being declared wanted by Nigerian Security forces was discovered among the 486 suspect being presently screened at a secure army barrack in Abia.

View Point is truly hopeful that this is the first move! The first alleged move by the dreaded Boko Haram sect to penetrate Southern part of Nigeria was frustrated on Sunday as soldiers from the Asa Military Base of 14 Brigade, Ohafia Barracks, Abia State, arrested 486 suspected insurgents including eight girls. 

The arrest was made same day bombs were uncovered and defused in a Winners Chapel church in Imo State. But the suspects claimed they were going to Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital in search of work.

They were arrested at about 2 am when their vehicles were intercepted by soldiers between Arungwa Junction on the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway and Imo Gate, the Abia State and Rivers State boundary.

Governor Orji's Relation Kiilled By Stray Bullet At Orji's Reception Party



The government of the eastern Nigerian state of Abia has announced the death of a relation of Governor Theodore Orji, who was hit by a stray bullet Saturday, at a reception in honour of the governor.
The incident happened after Governor Orji and his wife, Nene, had left the venue of the reception, according to Dr. Eze Chikamnayo, commissioner for information.
The victim was identified as John Ndubuka, who was an aide to Chinedu Orji, the governor’s son. He was hit by the bullet, suspected to have been fired by the police, as he was about leaving the venue of the reception organised to honour Governor Orji by the Ikwuano-Umuahia people.
