PHOTOS: Woman Delivers A Baby Boy Ater 5-Year Pregnancy

 



Mrs Adenike Kolawole, an Abuja-based woman,  who was barren for 27 years, has reportedly given birth to a baby boy after carrying a 5-year pregnancy.

According to  PM News, Mrs Adenike gave birth on Sunday October 26th at Evangelical Church of Cherubim and Seraphim located at Pipeline Road, Mafon area, Ejigbo, Lagos during the church's Sunday service.

Popular Dancer Kemi Omotoyinbo Dies During Child Birth

Popular dancer, choreographer and part actress Kemi Omotoyinbo is dead. The beautiful lady who danced for several popular musicians including Pasuma, KWAM 1 and Shina Peters, died during childbirth in a private hospital in Lagos on October 1st exactly 20 days after her wedding to husband Godwin Eloanyi, which was on September 13th.

According to her friends, Kemi was in and out of labour for several days in a private hospital and when she couldn't give birth the natural way, doctors said she would have to do a C&S. The doctors told her the operation would cost N450k and demanded an initial deposit of N300k before they do it.

According to Kemi's friends, the husband couldn't come up with the money immediately but begged the hospital to carry on with the operation that he would pay the next day (October 1st) but the hospital insisted on the deposit and refused to carry out the operation. Sadly, Kemi passed away last night.

    "The hospital killed her with their negligence and wickedness. Kemi would have lived if they had done the operation on time but money was more important than a young woman's life.

    "Kemi's husband said he would pay the money the next day but the doctor refused and stated categorically that he would not move an inch unless he paid the 300,000. It was at that point Kemi decided to forward messages to people she knows so she could get help. She got responses that money would be made available to her the next day. On hearing that the husband went to beg the doctors again, still they refused. No bank was opened and nothing could be done until Thursday October 2nd but unfortunately she gave up the ghost that night. My point is, the doctors knew she had to go through emergency C&S. they could have saved her life and get the money later.  Nigeria is a very bad country I must confess." one of her friends said.

Truly sad! May her soul rest in peace...Amen.




This is wicked, The last time I was in Benin Republic, a country we consider poor, C&S was free in both public and private hospitals.

Mother And Triplets Detained In Hospital In Delta State For 7 Weeks Over Medical Bill

A new mother and her newborn triplets were detained in a private hospital in Asaba, Delta State for 7 weeks after failing to pay about N725k medical bill.

The mother, Mrs Echenim, said she was barred from leaving her room from when she gave birth in July till early September because of her family's inability to pay the bills. The triplets’ father, Godswill Echenim, said he took his wife to the clinic because of the prolonged strike by doctors in public hospital.

    "For about 7 weeks, since the kids were delivered, we have been in this hospital. I had registered my wife for ante-natal at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba, but because of the strike by doctors, I brought her here for the delivery." He said last week. Continue

According to the sender, the baby was allegedly born on Friday September 5th in Wanune Local Government Area of the state. It hasn't been confirmed but there's currently no woman on record in the UK who has had a 55-inch baby bump. 29 year Lara Carpenter-Beck, gained so much weight as her pregnancy progressed that she couldn't even fit into normal maternity wear.
The first time mum gained weight at a rapid rate during her pregnancy because she has diabetes.

    "At just 12 weeks people were asking me when I was due- I was that big. And my bump just kept growing and growing. It was my first pregnancy and so I had no idea what to expect- but I knew it wasn't normal to grow at the rate I was- especially with just one baby." She explained.

A 29 year old British woman, Sarah Ward, gave birth to four children in a space of nine months after falling pregnant with triplets just weeks after she gave birth to her first child.

Sarah Ward's son Freddie was only eight weeks  old when she and her partner Benn Smith, were shocked to discover they had triplets on the way. They later welcomed two boys - Stanley and Reggie and a girl, Daisy. Describing life since being the mother of four little children Sarah Ward said 'At times it feels more like running a nursery than a home but we feel blessed'.

A Thai surrogate mother has broken down in tears while speaking about how the baby she was paid to carry was abandoned by an Australian couple who refused to take him home once they found out he had Down syndrome.


Pattharamon Janbua has told of her pain for the child, saying she loved the baby boy, now six months old, like he was her own.
There are now fears baby Gammy may not survive after he taken to hospital on Friday when he contracted a lung infection as it emerged his mother had received more than $50,000 in donations from all over the world to care for the boy.


The 21-year-old mother - who lives 90km south of Bangkok - had been paid a total of about $16,000 by the couple to give birth to the baby but when she gave birth to twins - a boy and a girl - they only took the girl back to Australia.

UNBELIEVABLE: Woman Gives Birth To 'Lizard' In Indonesia (PHOTO)

A 31-year-old woman, Debi Nubaton,  has reportedly 'given birth' to a lizard in a remote Oenunto Village in Indonesia.
It was reported that the woman gave birth to the lizard in May last year after an eight-month pregnancy.
The Mirrior reports that Indonesian officials are sending in an exert team to clear up the mystery behind the claim that the woman actually gave birth to a lizard.
The scientists in the team said that although it was clearly nonsense that the woman had given birth to a lizard, they needed to investigate to come up with a logical explanation.

 A Nigerian woman aboard a British Airways Flight went into labour forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing on a spanish Island.

Ujunwa Eneh Ozeh, who turned 31 yesterday, who was in the business class, went into labour at 36,000 feet while flying from her home town of Abuja, Nigeria's capital, to London Heathrow, despite only being 26 weeks pregnant.


The pilot of the British Airways flight was forced to make an emergency landing in Palme de Mallorce, in the Balearic Islands, where the mother and baby, who has been called Michael, were rushed to the island's Son Espases hospital.

The baby born with 4 legs and 4 arms had an operation to surgically remove the extra limbs on Friday.

Global Times reports that the boy, born in China's Guangdong province, on April 2 is in stable condition  after the surgery.

Yu Jiakang, chief surgeon at Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center, told the Yangcheng Evening News that the baby was born joined at the torso to a headless parasitic twin.

This Newborn Baby Was Found In A Septic Pit In Ogun State

Residents of  Surulere community, in Abeokuta area of Ogun state woke up to the cry of a newborn baby who was dumped in a septic outlet.
The baby who still had the placenta uncut was discovered by members of the Cherubim and Seraphim (C&S) Church who heard the non-stop cry of the baby during their night vigil thereby raising a rescue team who in turn searched for the baby.
The councillor representing the area, Ayoola Kabir said that he was contacted at about 6.45 pm, and made arrangements to get the baby to the hospital.
“First, the idea of contacting the Police came, but, I considered saving the life of the innocent baby first.

Police discover baby-making factory in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command, on Friday, paraded 10 suspects in connection with a baby making factory located at Sebanjo Crescent, Fagbunle Bus Stop at Akute area of the state.

Eight of the suspects were pregnant young women, whose ages range from 16 to 21.


NE learnt that the factory was being run by the prime suspect, Angela Chidozie, who also lived in the four-bedroom bungalow with her husband and children. Her husband was said to be currently on the run.

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikemefuna Okota, said the arrest was made possible following information from the community.

He said, “I have stressed the importance of community policing. We got information yesterday that Chidozie was keeping pregnant juveniles in her house.

“After the mothers give birth, Chidozie would sell the babies for N3m or more while the mother of each child would be given a pittance. When we got to Chidozie’s house yesterday, there was no one in sight. We left and when we later returned, we discovered that five of the girls were hiding in one room.

25-Year -Old Woman Gives Birth To A Stone In Yola

A 25-year old woman in Yolde Pate in Yola South LGA of Adamawa State, Amina Bello, on Tuesday, delivered a sizable stone. Bello narrated her story at the opening ceremony of Vesico vaginal fistula (VVF) free medical treatment in Yola Specialists Hospital. Bello, who is also a VVF patient, told the gathering that after four years pregnancy, she finally delivered a sizable stone last year.
