Simon Cowell Responds To Gay Claims

For years, there have been reports that Simon Cowell plays for the other team. But the former American Idol and now X Factor TV personality has not been linked to any man, and the list of women he has dated is long. He has a son with Lauren Silverman.

Tulisa Contostavlos who was a judge with Simon on X Factor, is currently facing drug charges. At a trial yesterday, her personal assistant claimed that Simon is gay and he knew people who have had sex with him.

When former  Xfactor USA, judge, Simon Cowell, who welcomed baby Eric with Lauren in February, began a romantic relationship with Lauren Silverman, she was still married to his close friend, Andrew Silverman.

And now, in a new interview with the UK’s Mirror, Cowell, 54, addressed the chaos that erupted when news broke of his affair with married Lauren Silverman. Cowell says he does “regret” the betrayal and he is not proud of the fact that his actions wound up hurting other people. He however never regrets that his son Eric was conceived as a result of the affair.
He told The Mirror:

Simon Cowell, XFactor Judge becomes a dad for the first time at age 54. His girlfriend Lauren Silverman gave birth to a baby boy at Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC yesterday February 14th. The baby boy came into the world at 5:45 p.m and weighed 6 pounds and 7 ounces. Simon was by Lauren's side for the birth of their son. Simon announced that the boy has been named Eric after his late dad. Congrats to them.
