Even if the joke sounds too expensive and only himself believes it, popular stand-up comedian, Julius Agwu, thinks he can become the next governor of Rivers state. The list of intending artiste-politicians keeps growing as the bandwagon syndrome catches up with more of them. Before the end of the year, more artistes will throw their hat in the ring.

Taiwo of the Oshadipe twins has passed on!

The petite and beautiful music star  died in the early hours of this morning in Lagos. Details of her death are still sketchy but reports say she battled a brief illness.

The Oshadipe twins, known for their “Dide Olorun Mi” hit track, started singing at a very tender age under the tutelage of some great Nigerian music legends like late Sonny Okosuns.

Taiwo was married and just recently gave birth to her first child. She last updated her Facebook page on October 1st saying “Happy independence everyone!”

Why do some celebrities love to claim what they are not. Tonto Dikeh came out to claim that she got about 1.2million fans on Facebook in just four days, something that took Pastor Adeboye, Omotola and some big companies in Nigeria several months and years.

The Media/Entertainment Law Firm of L & A- Legal Consultants has filed libel proceedings on behalf of  2face, at the Ikeja High Court asking the court to award their client the sum of N100million being damages for the libelous publication posted on the magazine’s online and print platforms.

Late Amaka Igwe's Husband Blames Her Death On Doctor Strike

Late Amaka Igwe's husband has blamed the death of his wife on doctor's strike the husband of the Veteran filmmaker, Mr Charles Igwe said this while receiving delegates from the National Executive of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP) who paid him a condolence visit days ago, says the ongoing Doctors' strike led to his wife's untimely death.

Narrating how Amaka died, Mr Charles painfully said:

The twelve-man committee who will select one Nollywood movie each year to be submitted for the Oscars, include Chineze Anyaene, Ngozi Okafor, Olumide Amure, Ramsey Nouah, Kene Mkparu, Emeka Mba, Chioma Ude, Akin Salami, Mildred Okwo, Biola Alabi, Charles Novia and Shaibu Husseini.

    “We saw death before us, but Oluwa was involved. Incidentally,we dropped our singles, titled ‘Oluwa is involved’ that day, so I see the handiwork of God in our escape. He spared my life and that of my brothers. Our kid brother was also with us in the car, so you can imagine the tragedy that would have befallen our family. But we thank God because HE was truly involved.
     I just doubt, like the ongoing investigation has shown if those attackers were just armed robbers. If they were armed robbers, they should have demanded for our phones, car, money or any other thing, but they didn’t demand for anything of such.

NOLLYWOOD MOURNS THE DEATH OF ONE OF THEIR OWN (PICTURED)

The death of Nollywood actress, Chrisphina Adinusor has thrown the movie industry into mourning.

According to report, Chrisphina Adinusor a member of the Rivers State Chapter of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) died of cardiac arrest at about 2am on March 28th 2014.
This is coming just few months after the movie industry lost a popular Nollywood actress, Ijeoma Perpetual Okorie who died during childbirth in Rivers State.
