A man in Lagos has been arrested and arraigned before a court of law in over reports that he stabbed his friend to death.
Nurudeen Adio is said to have attacked Lateef Jimoh after they got into a fight over how to split N800 between themselves.
Adio subsequently got angry and stabbed Jimoh leading to the death of the latter in the Amukoko area of the state where the incident occurred.
Vanguard reports:
The fight between Jimoh and Adio was caused by a heated argument over who should have a bigger share of the N800 they collected from a motorist.
Jimoh and the deceased, aged 32 and 33, respectively, were friends who worked as park touts.
The offence is punishable under Section 221, while the magistrate, Mr .O. O. Olatunji,
ruled that the accused be remanded in prison custody pending the DPP’s advice.
