It came as a shock to many to learn that president Jonathan had a grown daughter of marriageable age ,Faith Elizabeth Sakwe is actually an adopted child.
Faith who recently got married to Godswill Osim Edwards is actually the daughter of a chieftain of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State. Her father died in a car crash. She was adopted by the Jonathans at a young age and is their first child.
She has since been under the care of the Jonathans, she got married on the 5th of April.
The bride had an afterparty after her traditional wedding. Her husband's family and friends came with all their carnival fanfare.
