SAD STORY: Widow Beaten, Stabbed And Thrown Out Of Matrimonial Home (PHOTOS)

Alhaja Adejoke Orenaike, a widow at 36, is at the center of the whole issue in a polygamous home. Eight days after her husband died, her co-wife and step son sent her out of her matrimonial home. As if that was not enough, her sister in-law attacked her with a knife.

 She managed to shove her off and she ran out of the house with her 8-year-old daughter who was screaming for help. According to her, all her husband estates, properties, chains of businesses have been seized by her step son who has also threatened to kill her if she lay claim to any property.

Woman Kidnaps Step Daughter; Buries Her In Soak Away Pit

A wicked step-mother, Aminat Akanni, has been arrested in Lagos for allegedly abducting her two step-children and murdering one of them by burying her in a soak-away pit. Her reason for this act of wickedness was that her husband refused to  provide Sallah clothes for her own son.

In a report carried by Punch Newspaper, Aminat decided to take out her vengeance on the innocent kids to show her displeasure at her husband's alleged preferential treatment by taking better care of his other children to the detriment of her own child.

She was arrested by the police at CMS Bus Stop, Lagos Island, on October 9.

Raped To Death: Man Dies After He Was Forced To Have Sex With His 6 Wives

A man has died in Benue state after being forced to have sexual intercourse with all of his six wives.
The deceased, Uroko Onoja, a wealthy businessman in Ogbadibo LGA of the state, was reportedly having sex with the youngest of his wives, when the other five spouses stormed in, armed with knives and sticks, demanding he make love to all of them as well.

A terrified Onoja acquiesced to their demands and successfully carried out the act with four of the wives, but while about making love to the fifth wife, he stopped breathing.

According to reports, Onoja’s wives held a meeting to discuss the sexual ambush, while he was away, drinking at a bar in Ugbugbu, Ogbadibo.

Woman's Face Gets 26 Stitches After Husband Battered Her Over Piece of Fish (PICTURED)

 Alhaji Kamoru, she details, delivered several punches to her face. She said she bled for hours and was further locked up in a room for three days before she escaped.


Mrs. Fatima Bankole, 34, was battered by her husband, Alhaji Kamoru Bankole, for taking a piece of fish from the pot to break her fast.
The victim is first of three wives of Alhaji Kamoru,  residing at Hasan Close, Alasia, Ijanikin in Lagos State.

The bruising attack happened on  the 16th of July, when the third wife reported to their husband that their senior wife took fish from the soup to break her fast. The husband, according to witnesses, did not listen to her excuse before attacking her.
According to the victim, Mrs. Fatima Bankole, their husband had always physically abused her, but the incidence of  July 16th was more brutal.

Former Lagos Lawmaker Marries Two Friends As Third And Fourth Wives

Hon. Abdullateef Abdulkareem, a former member of Lagos House of Assembly and a former Special Adviser to Governor Babatunde Fashola on Political and Legislative Powers, is getting set to marry his fourth wife.
It was gathered by Encomium Weekly that Hadizat, the 3rd wife and the fourth wife, Rekihat he is planning to marry, are friends.

Hadizat was said to have pleaded with her husband to marry her and her friend so she can have a playmate, as his other two wives were too old for her to play and relate with.
Hon. Abdulkareem agreed and decided to marry the two friends.

Husband Slaps Wife To Death In Zamfara

Sixty-year-old man, Mallam Umaru of Jerin Duwatsu Village, Wanke district of Gusau LGA has been accused of slapping his wife, Inno, to death following a matrimonial disagreement. The incidence according to the village head, Magaji Hamidu, occurred when the deceased protested against the alleged perpetual injustice shown by the husband in favouring the senior wife on issues relating to matrimonial affairs.

The late Inno, according to sources, had always complained about the attitude of her husband who always personally fetched water for the senior wife who, though did not give birth to any child for him, often instructed the children of the late Inno to fetch water for her.

Kenya female lawmakers stage walkout as polygamy law is passed

It was a sitting filled with drama today in Kenya's parliament as female members of the assembly staged a walkout during proceedings in the parliament. Their grievance was as a result of a new law their male counterparts all favored which they see as derogatory to the rights of Kenyan women.


Prior to today when the Kenyan Marriage Amended Bill was passed into law, it was customary in Kenya for men to seek the permission of their first wife before bringing in another woman as second wife or even marry as many as they want. The men obviously woke up from their slumber and decided to remove that clause in their constitution and this infuriated the women big time.
