 A bomb blast yesterday claimed the lives of 47 children and injured 97 at Government Science Technical College, Potiskum. Musa Ibrahim Yahaya — a 17-year-old student at the school who was being treated at the hospital for head wounds told AP

    "We were waiting for the principal to address us, around 7:30 a.m., when we heard a deafening sound and I was blown off my feet, people started screaming and running, I saw blood all over my body."

Yesterday, 10th of November 2014, was another sad in Nigeria, a bomb , detonated by a suspected suicide bomber robbed 49  teenage Nigerians of their lives leaving about 79 others injured, at Government Comprehensive Senior Science Secondary School Potiskum, Yobe State.
Vanguard reports:

ABUJA—Running away from the school assembly ground with his white uniform stained with blood and bits of flesh, a traumatised student of Government Comprehensive Senior Science Secondary School, Potiskum, Yobe State, who survived a suicide bomb attack that claimed the lives of 47 of his colleagues with 79 others injured, yesterday, recounted his experience. The incident was considered one of the worst attacks on schools.

BREAKING NEWS: Bomb Explosion Rocks School Assembly In Yobe, At Least 20 Students Killed





A bomb went off this morning November 10th during Assembly at the Senior Science Secondary School Potiskum, Yobe state, an all boys school. The bomber is believed to be a student who was on the assembly ground with other students. At least 20 students were killed while several others were injured.

BOKOHARAM STORMS ARMY BASE KILLING 40 SECURITY AGENTS








Things are getting out of hand as Boko Haram insurgents continued their rampage on Monday night, killing 49 security operatives and civilians in two communities in Yobe and Borno states. They overpowered the security operatives on duty and also burnt the military base and police station in the towns.

A resident, Mallam Modibbo Kawu, said the terrorists told them not to be scared as they were out to attack only military and other security operatives.

    “They told us not to be afraid because they were in Buni Yadi on a reprisal against the military for attacking them in Alagarno last week. I can confirm to you that several police, soldiers and mobile policemen were killed. Their corpses were taken to the Damaturu Specialist Hospital.”

More Yobe College Survivors Recount Their Ordeal At The Hands Of Members Of Boko Haram

The Federal Government College Yobe  massacre which occurred on Tuesday signalled the end of life for some and the end of innocence for many others.
Survivors of the Boko Haram atatck on the Federal Government College, Buni Yadi in the Gujba Local Government of the state have opened up on the ordeal and revealed how they  are still haunted by the experience.
The students had just returned from their mid-term break when mayhem was unleashed upon them by the militants and many promising young lives were cut short.

About 43 innocent children of Federal Government College Buni Yadi, Yobe State, lost their lives when Boko Haram insurgents attacked their school in the early hours of Tuesday,  at a time the children were supposed to sleeping.

The school was attacked by Boko Haram members in the early hours of Tuesday, they set ablaze many structures in the school and slaughtered many innocent children.

BOKO HARAM: GUNMEN KILL 40 STUDENTS OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT COLLEGE IN YOBE



Gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram members has in early hour of today attacked and killed dozens students of Federal Government College Buni Yadi, Gujba Local Government Area of Yobe State. Yobe state Police Commissioner, Sanusi A Rufai confirmed that twenty nine male students were killed and twenty four structures that include the Administration block, students hostel and staff quarters were burnt down.
A resident in the area said he has counted 39 lifeless bodies within the premises. "The attackers started the operation around 12:15 unpertubed until after 4 am, the students were slaughtered and fired with guns.
