Police Van Chase Okada Rider And His Passengers To Their Deaths (Warning: Graphic Photos)

An Okada rider and his 2 male passengers were chased to death yesterday afternoon at Awoyaya bus-stop  along the Lekki-Epe Express way in Lagos as they were being chased by a police van.

While trying to escape from the police who were chasing them to seize their bike for riding on the express, the Okada, which was on high speed, collided with a BRT bus that crushed them to death.

According to an eye-witness, area boys gathered and burnt the police van. The army had to be brought in to calm the situation.

Minna - Residents Groan As Government Enforces Ban On Okada

Minna- Many commuters in Minna, Niger, were on Thursday stranded following the enforcement of the ban on commercial motorcycle operators, popularly known as Okada.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that most people in the city had a difficult time accessing the buses and the tricycles provided by the state government to cushion the effects of the ban.
The buses and tricycles charged between N30 and N50 per drop, which most of the residents said were affordable.
