In the midst of plenty it is really disheartening to known that some communities in Nigeria still dont have portable water.

In Opoo, a remote community at the outskirts of Okaka in Itesiwaju Local Government Area of Oyo State, life is a different mix for Abiola Bankole and her two little siblings – Yemi and Ibukun.
Their school, Community Primary School Opoo, boasts only three classrooms with no basic facilities to support any meaningful academic exercise. Two out of the three classrooms have their roof completely blown off by the wind while the only surviving one shared by the entire school of about 150 pupils is half way from finally caving.

A 20 -year -old man was arrested in Oyo for allegedly sexually abusing a toddler, the daughter of one of his father's tenants.
20-year-old Afeez Raimi is said to have stuck his finger into the vagina of his 2-year-old victim to the extent  that she started to bleed.
Raimi, in his defence, said that the young girl had come into his room and laid on his bed and it was when he noticed she wasn’t wearing any underwear that he got aroused.

    Afeez was arrested on Sunday, May 4, at Benbo area of Apata, Ibadan, Oyo State where he lived with his parents, after a 35-year-old man, Mr Adebimpe Gafari reported at Kuola police station that the boy defiled his daughter with his finger, so much that the girl bled.

About 20 bodies of people believed to have been killed for ritual purposes were discovered, yesterday, in Soka, Oluyole local government area of Oyo State.

Also, 18 men and five women, believed to have been bewitched and bound with fetters in a dungeon, were found and rescued.

The rescued victims looked emaciated. One of the women was said to have been delivered of a baby who was sold to a waiting buyer among those who always thronged the secluded area at night to buy human parts.Some of the captives were too weak to tell their stories.

It was gathered that some Fulani cattle rearers grazed their cattle in the bush around the area.

Gang Including 2 Women Caught With Fresh Human Head In Oyo

Officials of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State, on Saturday afternoon at Iware in Afjio Local Government area of Oyo State, arrested two women and four men suspected to be members of a gang, with a fresh human head with blood still dripping from it.

The suspects names were given as Adebayo Afeez, Amidu Ogunjimi, Sherifat Mufutau, Taibat Lasisi, Waheed Wahab and Oyeniyi Oyeniran.

Other items recovered from the suspects were tools used in carrying out  the act, one Infinity car without registration number and two Mazda cars with registration numbers UA 518 KJA and DE 902 BDJ..
