Miss World Pageant Abolishes Bikinis From Competition

Starting from next year the organizers of Miss World Beauty pageant have revealed that the competition will no longer, contain the bikini/swimsuit round.

This announcement coming at a time the world seems to be embracing nudity, would be a welcome development for many observers.  In an interview with Elle, chairwoman Julia Morley explained:

Miss Michelle Isikalu emerged the winner of the latest Beauty and Costume pageantry organized by Pastor Chris Okotie and Household of God Church in Lagos. 

The event which took place on  Sunday December 14th at the 24th annual Grace event organized by Pastor Okotie saw Michelle beat 16 other beautiful girls to win the Queen Esther Beauty and Costume pageant.

Miss South Africa Is Miss World 2014 (PHOTOS)

After a lengthy competition involving contestants from more than 120 countries,South Africa's Rolene Strauss has been named the winner of the Miss World 2014 competition in a London finale televised in many parts of the world yesterday, Sunday 14th December 2014.

Edina Kulcsar of Hungary was the runner-up and Elizabeth Safrit of the United States took third place.

Each of the contestants had won the right to represent their country in a series of local and regional competitions.

Miss Honduras 2014 Was Killed By Her Sister's BoyFriend

Plutarco Ruiz, the boyfriend of Sofia Trinidad, the older sister of 19 year old 2014 Miss Honduras, Maria Jose Alvarado, has been identified as the killer of the beauty queen and her sister.

Plutarco Ruiz admitted to gunning down 23-year-old Sofia after flying into a rage after seeing her dance with another man at his birthday party, where the girls were last seen alive and then turned the gun on Maria because she was a witness to the murder of her sister.

MEET COLETTE NWADIKE, MISS TOURISM NIGERIA 2014 (PHOTOS)

Colette Nwadike, 23 year old English language and literature graduate from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka was crowned  the new Miss Tourism Nigeria 2014.

Colette Nwadike who represented Anambra State out-shined 34 other tourism ambassadors at the event which was held on 17th May 2014. Miss Nwadike will represent Nigeria at the 2014 Miss Tourism World pageant which will hold later  this year. Congratulations Miss Nwadike!!!.
