Following the killing of 36 people by terror group Al-Shabab yesterday morning in a quarry in Mandera, North of Kenya, Kenya's National Police chief, David Kimaiyo has resigned.

After receiving the police chief's resignation letter, Kenyan president, Uhuru Kenyatta announced the dismissal of Kenya's Interior Minister with immediate effect.

According to a report on KTLA a US teenager faces a possible life in prison sentence after authorities say they learned about shocking crimes he allegedly committed on an African mission trip.

    The suspect was volunteering at a Kenyan children’s home when he allegedly raped and molested a number of young children between the ages of four and nine.

    According to court records, 19-year-old Matthew Durham (pictured above) confessed to raping several young girls, forcing some boys to perform oral sex on him and even making other kids watch.

MAN BEATS HIS WIFE TO DEATH FOR SELLING HIS CHICKEN

A Kenyan man has given himself up for arrest after allegedly beating his wife to death for selling one of his chickens.

Standard Digital reports that the 70-year-old man beat his 60-year-old wife to death with a piece of firewood after she sold one of his prized hens to buy food.
According to the report, the woman had not eaten in three days.
The man reportedly tried to defend himself when surrounded by Kakamega County villagers by saying that he frequently beat his wife when she did something wrong.

Social media has been buzzing lately with photos of Linda Okello, a female Kenyan Police Officer in her tight fitting, butt hugging uniform. The officer based in Kiambu also got the attention of her superiors who are not smiling over her sexy package.

According to sources, the female officer was on Monday whisked away in four land cruisers. The Police IG, Grace Kaihndi is not happy with her officer. She insists that "some items of clothing and accessories were tarnishing the good image of the service" quote by IG kaihndi.

Kenya female lawmakers stage walkout as polygamy law is passed

It was a sitting filled with drama today in Kenya's parliament as female members of the assembly staged a walkout during proceedings in the parliament. Their grievance was as a result of a new law their male counterparts all favored which they see as derogatory to the rights of Kenyan women.


Prior to today when the Kenyan Marriage Amended Bill was passed into law, it was customary in Kenya for men to seek the permission of their first wife before bringing in another woman as second wife or even marry as many as they want. The men obviously woke up from their slumber and decided to remove that clause in their constitution and this infuriated the women big time.

Pastor Orders Female Congregants To Come To Church Without Wearing Pants And Bras?

A Kenyan pastor,  Reverend Njohi of the Lord’s Propeller Redemption Church in Dandora Phase 2, an eastern suburb in Nairobi, has ordered all his female congregants to attend church services without pants and bras for Christ to enter their lives.
The law banning females from wearing undies was passed during a meeting chaired by the the reverend himself and according to him, under wears were ungodly.
Mothers were also advised to check that their daughters had complied with the new law when coming to church on Sundays so as to receive Christ too.

Kenyan authorities have launched an investigation into how a man declared dead in a hospital woke up alive in its morgue the next day.

Shocked mortuary workers at Naivasha hospital ran away when the body stirred and was seen to be breathing.
Paul Mutora, who had tried to kill himself by swallowing insecticide, was pronounced dead on Wednesday night.
The chief medic said the drug used to treat him slowed the heart beat, which may have led to the mistake.
