PHOTOS: Covenant University Students Build Cars






Students of Bishop David Oyedepo's Covenant University are doing wonders. They have just built some very fantastic cars that will make professionals glow in admiration. A source at the church said:

    "I was at the Canaanland yesterday and before the end of the service, Oyedepo announced what wonders the covenant university students are performing.

    "The red colour car is built to use power generator set which will make it reduce fuel usage. It will use just 1 litre of fuel per 60 kilometer. The ash colour car is fantastically built with three powerful batteries that will make it store power and re-use later, much like an inverter. The keke napep is very beautiful too, it can reverse."

Made-In-Nigeria Cars to Debut On August 8

Innoson vehicle manufacturing company announced that a debut of the first made-in-Nigeria mass produced cars would be made on August 8, 2014.
During the opening ceremony of Empower Nigeria Roadshow for the South-East zone, chairman of Innoson Group, Chief Innocent Chukwuma, revealed this information yesterday at the Faculty of Law, University of Nigeria, Enugu campus.

According to the chairman, the company would crash the prices of new cars in the country with his commencement of mass produced cars. While the prices of the new cars would range from N1.5 million to N3 million, Innocent Chukwuma assured that the Innoson new cars would compete favourably with others in the market.

Nigerian Student Builds Solar-Powered Car (SEE PHOTOS)

A young Nigerian student doing his last year in electronic and electrical engineering at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, has built a car operating on solar power.

Segun Oyeyiola explains that his car uses  both wind and solar energy for the functioning, The Net reports. Moreover, the man developed an application for its installation in the car, which app will inform the driver about the battery level, weather conditions and other essential parameters.

In an interview to allAfrica.com Segun spoke about how he came up with the idea and eventually embodied it. He confessed his first motivation was to eradicated the causes of climate change resulting in fuel combustion.
