The notice which was signed by 19 of the 25 members of the Assembly, was served on grounds of “gross misconduct,”
Commenting via Ahmad Sajoh, his Director of Press and Public Affairs, the embattled governor says:
“Members of the House are planning something that will end up making them the sole beneficiaries, where the Speaker will be the acting governor and the deputy speaker becomes the deputy governor.”
This will be his second impeachment notice, the first was in 2008.
Nyako has been having problems with the Assembly members since leaving the PDP to join the APC.
