What I Know About Boko Haram ––Ali Modu Sheriff Opens Up

Former governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, has opened up on what he knows about the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents currently ravaging states in the northeast and some other parts of the country, while disclosing that only the neighbouring Republic of Chad could help solve the menace.

Sheriff, while speaking in a BBC Hausa Service magazine programme on Saturday, denied reports saying that Boko Haram started during his tenure as governor of Borno State between 2003 and 2011. He revealed that the radical religious sect actually started in Yobe State in 1992, and that he has been trying to find a lasting solution to it, including talking to the Chadian government.

 Charles Ozigbo, a center referee  was assaulted by Nigerian football fans during a match between Rangers Bee of Kaduna and Kwara United of Ilorin in Abuja yesterday December 19th.

The referee was reportedly attacked after he gave a penalty to one of the clubs. The supporters of the opposing club entered the football field and attacked the referee bringing the match to a abrupt halt.

The family had had to swallow the hard reality of losing their promising 18-year-old son, Chukwuebuka, in mysterious circumstances.

Chukwebuka, who was the Senior Prefect of Modebe Memorial Secondary School, Onitsha could not recover from a fatal punch he received from a junior he had tried to correct few weeks ago. He died few hours later after many attempts to revive him at a private hospital in Onitsha failed.

In what appears a direct reply to the Boko Haram leader, Shekau, the Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness, Muhammad Sanusi II, has declared that he remained protected against any evil attack and nothing is going to happen to him except it is the will of Allah, the creator.

Stevie Wonder's Girlfriend Gives Birth To 9th Child For Him

Steve Wonder is really performing wonders in the baby making business. The 64-year old legendary musician and his girlfriend, Tomeeka Robyn, have welcomed their 2nd child together. They welcomed a baby girl today and Steve has already named her Nia.

Interestingly, Nia is Stevie’s 9th child as he already has 7 from previous affairs and one from Tomeeka, his present girlfriend and new mom, before this latest addition to the family.

8 Siblings Found Stabbed To Death At Their Home In Cairns, Australia

Details about what investigators found inside the house has not been revealed but a neighbour said she had been told there were bloody scenes 'everywhere' inside. Officers who arrived first on the scene said it was like 'something out of a horror movie'. Specialist police officers are now on their way from Brisbane to help with the situation and the crime scene is completely locked down.

'There's not much else we can say, but what we have a range of strategies in place to support the family through this very difficult time,' Detective Inspector Asnicar said.
'It's  tragic and traumatic with so many deceased in one place. It's right up there with some of the most serious things I've ever had to deal with.'

I Get Contradictory Advice On Issues, Says President Jonathan
