Top 10 Worst Paid Jobs In The UK

How many of us are of the opinion ALL those who live and work abroad are well paid? Talking of the UK to be precise, we think everyone in full time work at least earns enough money cover their basic needs, right? [The interesting thing is the lowest still adds up to over 3milion naira as against our own N216,000 per annum.]

Wrong. Nearly five million workers in the UK earn less than the living wage of £9.15 an hour in London and £7.85 an hour elsewhere according to research by the Trade Union Congress (TUC).

Some areas in the UK such as Northfield in Birmingham has over 50 per cent of its working population receiving less than the living wage compared to the far better off workers of South East England such as Poplar and Limehouse in East London where only 7.5 per cent are underpaid, according to i100.
Just to depress us all even further, women suffer from this issue disproportionately more than men.
